Larger framed and well-conditioned heifers produce 2,000 to 3,000 pounds more milk in their first lactation! We formulate heifer rations for all stages of growth. Proper utilization of forages, along with supplementing vitamins and minerals, will help to reduce the cost of your own grain and forage input. Our goal is to have your heifers calve at 22 to 24 months of age.

Milking Cows

ANC provides rations and consulting for TMR and component fed herds. We tailor milk cow diets for groups based on production, stage of lactation, and age. We work closely with local mills and suppliers to put together the most profitable rations using commodity protein, energy and mineral ingredients. Our emphasis is first on herd health, then production.

Dry Cows and Transition Cows

Proper transition and dry cow feeding are easily the most important management decisions a dairyman makes. We formulate unique rations to help reduce problems during these crucial times. We do this by increasing the levels of specific nutrients, adding ingredients high in digestible fibers and monitoring the cation-anion balance. A strong point of the ANC program is enhancing dry matter intake by properly changing cows from one ration to the next.

Various factors intertwine together to from a strong and consistent breeding program. Unhealthy rations will cause   most problems within fertility. The ANC program coupled with good herd health professionals will optimize reproductive performance. We will work with your veterinarian and breeder to achieve your goals.
